Meet Dr. Lindsay Limbaugh
Dr. Lindsay Limbaugh is a board-certified orthodontist in Huntsville, Alabama, who loves helping patients feel more confident in their smiles. She works closely with her team to provide thoughtful, high-quality orthodontic care in a friendly environment where patients feel informed and supported.
Born and raised in Fort Payne, Alabama, Dr. Limbaugh is proud to care for families throughout North Alabama. She combines advanced training, years of experience, and a personal approach to help children, teens, and adults achieve healthy, beautiful smiles.
Undergraduate & Dental Education
Dr. Limbaugh attended Auburn University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. She also received a Dental Merit Scholarship to attend the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham.
During dental school, Dr. Limbaugh held several leadership roles, including:
- Dental School Curriculum Committee Member
- President of the Alabama Association of Women Dentists
- Student Ambassador for the dental school
- Student Government Association Representative
Orthodontic Training & Residency
After graduating from dental school in 2003, Dr. Limbaugh immediately entered the orthodontic residency program at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
She completed the three-year program in April 2006, earning her Master of Science degree with a thesis titled “Genetic Predisposition of Facial Growth Patterns: Concordance Among Siblings.”
In May 2006, Dr. Limbaugh completed the Phase II written examination of the American Board of Orthodontics. In 2008, she passed the elective certification process to become an ABO Board Certified Orthodontist.

Giving Back to Huntsville and North Alabama
Dr. Limbaugh believes in giving back to her community and her profession. Locally, she has served as President of the Huntsville-Madison County Dental Society, participates in dental study clubs, and supports local schools and organizations throughout the area.
Her heart for service began early in her dental training. As a dental student, she volunteered with Special Olympics-Special Smiles, the Colgate Smiles program, and the Sparks Clinic for patients with special needs.
She also helped organize the Bread and Roses program, in which donations were collected and oral hygiene instruction was provided at local shelters.
Outside of the Office
Dr. Limbaugh married Dr. Matt Limbaugh, a Huntsville native, while she was in her orthodontic residency. Matt completed a two-year General Practice Residency at UAB Hospital before moving back to Huntsville to begin his dental career.
Today, Dr. Limbaugh enjoys being back in Huntsville and living in Hampton Cove with her family. She and Matt are the proud parents of two sons, Brady and Grayson.
Outside of the office, Dr. Limbaugh enjoys community service, spending time with friends and family, reading, traveling, and watching Auburn football.
Her parents still live in Fort Payne, and her brother, who is also an orthodontist, and sister-in-law have recently moved to the area, making it easy for the whole family to spend time together often.
